Questions about Clomid
Hello ladies,
I'm new here and also new to Clomid as well. I do ovulate regularly but my obgyn has me taking 50mg days 5-9 of Clomid, as we haven't been able to conceive baby #2 for several months, I'm on day 3 of treatment. I have two questions about Clomid, does it tend to dry up your cervical mucus? And also how many of you had success with it when you were already ovulating on your own? Thanks in advance!

I used Clomid for 2 cycles (100mg, days 3-7). I was pretty sure that I was ovulating on my own, but my RE prescribed it to me anyways. I got my BFP after 2 cycles, but I also got an IUI and I think that is what helped us.
Hope it works for you! xoxo

Yes, it does tend to dry CM.. I drank a lot of green tea to help in that area..
I was on my 6th round of clomid when I got pg with my dd.. I didn't ovulate on my own however.

I ovulate on my own and it didn't work for me. Good luck. It does dry up your CM. Many of us would use preseed. It is a sperm friendly lube

Thank you! I bought some pre seed so I'm all set. Wish me luck :)

Good Luck! This was the first month we have used Preseed too. I really liked it. I hope it does the trick :)

I was ovulating, but my doc thought my progesterone(is that right? It doesn't sound quite right, but I can't remember lol) to be a bit low, like 12 something, and he likes it to be 15, he said maybe I was not producing a good egg, hence why I had two miscarriages. I used 50mg of clomid the first month and my level went down to 11 something, so I did 100 mg the next and got twins. :) I can't remember if I felt dryer, but I believe I was taking robitussin to help cervical mucus.
