Soy Isoflavones vs Clomid

Welp, I survived.. It was VERY uncomfortable and I cursed.. When I tried to sensor myself the doctor said, "I understand, let it out" I definitely let out a few more. The beginning and middle of the procedure was the worst (inserting the catheter, blowing up the balloon and inserting the dye). I starting hyperventilating and got dizzy/lightheaded. The doc paused the procedure so I could relax and breathe, the nurse came back with an ice pack to put under my neck. I was on Percocet and aleve.. It still hurt, but I had no cramping or anything afterwards so far. I have a little spotting but that's normal.

Just glad it's over and the HSG revealed no blockages, all is well in the womb!

I tried soy years ago before we TTC to see if it would make me O earlier. I usually O'ed around CD 21 but the cycle I did soy (can't remember the dosage) I actually O'ed later, around day 26 or 27. I never tried it again after that. I did read lots of threads on the web where people had success with it though.

Yeah, we've heard a few stories of this...but for us we never seem to O on our own anyway....so late is better than never!! :) I love hearing that there is success stories! Thank you :)

Susan have you O'd yet? I have no idea when i'll O.. like you said, I just hope I O. I've been doing cheapie OPKs.. no lines yet.. watery cm but no ewcm... I wish it hurry up.. lol

This week just all out sucked. Had a crappy dr appt, getting referred to an RE now. My MD gives up i guess. I got that one digi positive at CD10...but my temps aren't really doing anything at all. I can't figure my freaking body out! lol

Ok, I think you said you wanted to chart stalk lol so, I went and put my last cycle on FF (I usually use a different android app. the last time i looked FF didn't have one, so I picked a different one. I think I'll use this from now on though, I really like the app!)

Looks like you O'd on CD 14, putting you at 8dpo.. I wonder why FF didn't give you CH? Are they not high enough??

I don't know, the chart-er I was using didn't have the crosshairs, so I've really never seen them. I was busy today working on moving some of my charts over. The main screen seemed to say (in a not very straightfoward way) that it was because I got the opk positive earlier than that, and I also don't have a period to go with the temp drop... I'm honestly not the best with reading these things, I don't usually get ANYTHING different when putting in my temps, so this was interesting, if nothing else!

Well that temp drop at what im calling 8 dpo, could very well be implantation.. You never know.. Lets see if it jumps back up.. I bet it will!

Huh. It did jump back up... what does that mean??
