Taking at night versus morning? Also - 75mg dosage?

I was wondering - is there any difference in side effects taking Clomid at night versus in the morning? I was taking it mid morning and had massive headaches by mid afternoon that went away some time at night. I was thinking if I take it at dinner, I would sleep through the headaches?

Or will it really make much of a difference?

Also - anyone heard of a 75mg dosage? I've seen people take 50 then jump to 100, but never in between? That's what my doc had recommended when I only got one follicle, but maybe I heard wrong. I'm going to find out today.

I always took mine at night so I would sleep through the side effects except for the hot flashes. They came regardless and I remember waking up soaked sometimes. Good luck

I took Clomid for three months. I took it at night right after dinner to avoid the all day headache. I seem to sleep through them at night. Only a few times did I have a minor lingering headache. Clomid did however make me super emotional.

I will tell you the last fertility drug I took was fermara I found it to be much easier on me than the clomid. I am sure that differs from woman to woman.

Have either of you heard of a 75MG dose? I've seen 50 and 100 but not 75 before?

I have never taken a 75mg dose. I took the 50mg dose and it made me produce 3 eggs. (we were dealing with a male infertility factor)

It sounds like you doc is pretty conservative about your doseage. Since you did respond to the clomid the first time I would trust their judgment for now unless you are not as responsive this time to the clomid.

I have no input on the dosage, but I've been taking it at suppertime and not had any problems with side effects at all, aside from it messing up my BBTemps. *eye roll* I'm no Clomid expert though, only my second round with it so far.
