Hi gals,

With my first 3 rounds of clomid I did 5-9 and it didn't not help so I went to day 3-7 and I finally started ovulating. My RE says it all depends on your cycle and what not, but ever Dr has their own answer for this. I hope it works for you!! I took cycles of it and are going to try natural way now for a little bit before we try the IUI!
Oh Ok, thanks! My cycles are short (only 24 days). So that is why my dr. put me on it. I think that I'm ovulating from the looks of my charts (and every month I get a +opk). But my dr. thinks I'm Oing too early, and my eggs just arn't mature enough. She is hoping the clomid does the trick - SO AM I!
Have you scheduled your IUI?? How exciting.
Hi ladies
natelukesmom:
Clomid starting on cd 5 is a smart thing for you if your follies are not mature prior to ovulation - usually starting on cd 3 is to help your ovaries build up so they kick an egg out because they don't naturally on their own. I really hope that it works for you!

Hopefully you get your sticky BFP the natural way - it has been known to happen to work after you stop taking Clomid because your body thinks that it's still on it and has a portion of the meds still in your body floating around. It happened that way for a friend of mine.
IUIs are not bad at all -- I've had 6 of them, 4 of them resulting in a BFP. Unfortunately my BFPs did not stick but IUI does work - just gives those swimmers that extra boost with a free ride closer to where they should be.
Whatever way you choose to proceed with -the best of luck is sent to you!
Thanks Tacie. I hope it works too. What is your plan for this month?
I am waiting for AF to start - on CD 1 I need to call to get a baseline ultrasound and CD 3 will start injections (Puregon) again. We're hoping this time follies will grow and we get to trigger to do the IUI
