Thread: ~CLOMID SIDE EFFECTS~ Add yours here!!

I am on day four. The past two days I have thrown up and feel sick all day. I also feel out of it almost floaty (sounds crazy I know) I can't remember things.

Wow, this second cycle has been bad. I was so tired, hot, sad, mad, shaking, you name it. Even had the headaches. I am glad the pills are done.
Better luck to all.

I have become a MONSTER! Is that a side effect?? I am only on day one of taking 100mg of Clomid, but I have bitten the head off of my children twice. I just have very little- ok, no- patience. and the whinning was killing me. I feel so badly. I usually have tons of patience for my kids. (ages 3 and 2)


UPDATE: The irritability only lasted two days...Thank God.

hotflashes started around cd7, every once in a while, not too bad.

But the bloatig is killing me now, cd13. Wow- I have never felt so 'full' and bloated before.

Hey everyone, I am new to this site and just finished my third cycle of clomid. The only side effect that I had was hot flashes and occasional mood swings. When you take the last pill, when do you start testing to see if you are ovulating. Last month I tested everyday, which was a bit much and expensive, but I was too the point where I didn't care. Well three times the charm, I am hoping we will concieve this month, I am on day 13 today. I will be a first time mom... Any advice?????[/list][/i]

WELL I JUST FINISHED TAKING CLOMID ON SAT IM VERY NERVOUS AND REALLY HOPING IT WORKS I HAVE A 2 1/2 YEAR OLD ALREADY BUT CANT SEEM TO GET PREGO WITH ANOTHER ITS VERY FRUSTRATING AND HARD THIS WEBSITE IS THE BEST THING IVE COME ACROSS !!

SINCE ITS DAY THREE SINCE MY LAST PILL WHAT ARE SIGNS IM LOOKING FOR?? IM TOTALLY CLULESS TO THIS ITS MY FIRST CYCLE AND IM NOT REALLY SURE!!

Well I take my clomid on days 5-9 and I usually check to see if I am OV on days 14-18. I am OV now, and I can tell because I cramp just a little bit but not much, I tested yesterday and it confirmed that I am. I am on cycle 3 and I hope that this is the one. I am trying not to think about it. Just keep trying it will happen. BABY DUST TO US ALL.

I have the CBF Monitor so it has me test at day 10. A textbook cycle is day 14 for ovulating. I would test at day 10 only because I don't want to miss the day.

This month was round 1 for me at 50mgs. Most of my s/e came while I was taking the pills: extreme moodyness, horrible headaches, breaking out like a teenager, and I was dizzy towards the end of the pill cycle. I got up from a nap one afternoon and the room kept spinning! During O time, I had pain on both sides and extreme bloating - it felt as if you could seriously pop me like a balloon!

This site has been a lifesaver to me the past couple of days!!

Lower Back ache during ovulation time and during period. Never had that before Clomid.
