This is my first time posting, and I'm just learning the abbrevations so please humor me if I don't get them right!
On Clomid (50mg) and HcG this month for the first time.
(4 years ago I had 2 IUI (w/ donor) with no drugs and no success. Wasn't emotionally prepared for the disappointment so I discontinued treatment, figuring that would be the last time I ever set myself up for failure. HA! I guess old habits are hard to break.)
Discomfort during O, both sides and had two follicles that were decent size. I'm on day 11 of TWW and feeling alright, tender breasts (but could be AF on the way), nausea started sometime this weekend, usually around dinner time (side effect of the HcG?) and tired all the time (stress????) Has anyone experienced really really vivid dreams at all? I don't usually remember my dreams and when I do it's just a fuzzy fragment here and there. This week, I have had some really weird dreams and so real, it's like watching a movie. Does anyone know if this is a side effect of Clomid or HcG?

I am new here. I just started Clomid yesterday. Will my side effects be while I am taking it or afterward. So far i feel fine. My DH and I have been trying for 7 months when I finally went to the doctor and he said I wasn't ovulating. No egg no baby. So I feel hopeful with the Clomid.
I am new here, but I just started Clomid in July and am glad to hear that others experienced the same O pain that I did. I was scared that something was wrong but now I'm not so worried.

I just O'd for my first Clomid cycle and wow! The bloating was awful! Of course it set in right after I ate Thanksgiving dinner. Man! Talk about the worst timing! Then I didn't want to miss our chance at this O so we BD'd. Whoa! I've been moody off and on... like I get so mad when my daughter spilled her soup all over the kitchen...OK I know it was just an accident but she's 10-1/2, so this shouldn't be happening. Anyway, I got so mad I just had to walk away for a while. Yikes!

The symptoms for me haven't really been that bad…
No real moodiness but definitely more emotional than usual.
However, now that I am getting close to O (+OPK yesterday), I
feel sooooo bloated! OMG- I've never felt so bloated in my life!
Like you could prick me and I would bust like a balloon- and I have had
some cramps- every once in awhile I'll get a nice sharp pain but basically
just dull cramps throughout the day!
It doesn’t bother me though!! It's well worth it!

Just thought I would add a few websites I have found, which talk about the side effects of Clomid, among other things.
First round of Clomid 50mg....moooody!! Emotional and some headaches. Did not O however.
Second round 100mg, just emotional, I could cry at a dime!! But it was better this month!! We will see if the 100mg makes me O. Here's hoping!!!

Hi all. Just wanted to say I took Clomid two rounds. The first time, I tried 2 cycles and then had a car wreck and quit for a while (no pregnancy). Then a year later, I had a miscarriage before I knew I had been pregnant. So we tried the Clomid again, and it worked on the second cycle.
As for side effects, I really don't remember any, maybe a little hot flashes, but not bad. Well worth it for me anyway.
