Thread: Been awhile - ROLL CALL!

I'm really excited to try wool! I got a couple of etsy wool newborn soakers. A local mama said she'll sell me a couple of hers in smalls and mediums after her little girl outgrows them.

Wool is probably the one thing I might want to try if there was ANY possible way to justify it... but there really isn't. And given that we live in a sub-tropical climate, I'm not so sure it would be so good anyway.

Mara, I bought a newborn soaker for $10 that worked great. Plus, wool is breathable so I've always been told it still works well in the warm climates. Some wool is thicker than others too, so that plays a factor. I guess you have to factor in a little extra since you have to lanolize but a little lanolin goes a long way and wool can be washed in baby wash. I know what you mean though, it can be very expensive (assuming that is what you meant by it cannot be justified?) which is why I have bought wool used, on sale, or seconds. I know I'll be able to sell them without any problems since they've held up really well. Plus, it really is bulletproof, as they say. My kids seem to fit in the "super soaker" category so it's nice to have a cover that can keep up.

Here's T in her Blueberry trainer that I got on clearance recently. Its a size large. These things run pretty small. She's about 26 lbs and of pretty average build for her age.

Woah. Those are huge. Meh. You'll just have to deal with it because I'm feeling lazy.

Any diapers you're curious about and wish you could try: All of them! All I have are 21 KaWaii Minkies and a few prefolds (with no covers) [Update: I think I'm good. I'm a little wool curious, but happy now that I've got some other pockets and some covers for my prefolds]
Current frustrations: Leaks, Diapers not getting clean. CDing is like getting a free puppy (There's no such thing as a free puppy, the costs keep on coming). [My wash routine is still a little ridiculous and I have to strip more often than I like]

Favorite diaper: I don't have one yet ! We will be CD-ing for the first time with Nolan.
Any diapers you're curious about and wish you could try: We have already bought some BG AIO's to use at daycare/with family, we are also getting Flips with Organic inserts and prefolds with snappi's and covers. I hope we love them all. We shall see !
Current frustrations: I want my baby so I can start this new journey ! I am really excited
