Blisters?,

Help!-- Aiden has blisters on the head of his peepee! It happened a few weeks ago and we thought it was caused from being in the walker too long- (pressure, temp, and friction.) so we haven't been putting him in it often, and then for only short periods of time. I just changed his night time diaper and he has 2 new ones. They are water blisters, as if he has been burned, taking up about 1/3 of the head. I've been tring to figure out what it can be and keep coming back to their diaper detergent. But I don't see how. I use Charlie's soap and have since Sept. And I've been using these types od diapers since March. The ones I'm currently using at night I got the first week of December. I always rinse, wash, and double rinse. I even ran an extra full cycle with no detergent yesterday. I guess I will switch and hope it doesnt happen again. In the meantime, what should I do for him now?

Is there perhaps a relation between the blisters to food/drink he's had? I ask because if my son has oranges or orange juice he'll show up with blisters on his penis. Thankfully CJs BUTTer has cleared up the blisters within 24 hours every time (we try to avoid orange, but my husband is an idiot at times ).
It's so hard knowing that it's painful to them. Sad

I don't think so.... The only things we have added to his diet recently have been peanut butter and eggs. We added those around 6 weeks ago, and he's had eggs nearly everyday since, and peanut butter about once a week. I'm beginning to think it might have been an ammonia burn. ? We moved this weekend (hens the delayed response), and still have a lot of boxing and organizing to do. Until I am able to strip their diapers, we are using sposies at night. Sad he looks so much better though.

I would honestly take him in and have it looked at, just in case it is a bacterial infection.
