Dryer Help

Since I started CDing I gave up fabric softeners, but I've noticed that my clothes come out of the dryer all static-y and sometimes covered with lint and/or pet hair. Any suggestions on what I might be able to use that is CD friendly? I already tried dryer balls (the plastic or rubbery kind) and they didn't help at all.

Wool dryer balls. Works like a charm! Smile I use 2-4 baseball size ones. Will never go back to fabirc softeners again!

I have 6 wool dryer balls in my dryer! Well, usually 1 or 2 are missing thanks to the toddler. Blum 3
You can try vinegar in place of fabric softener for regular laundry.

Do the dryer balls really work? It seems like a lot of money to invest if they are only so-so.

How much vinegar do you use, Jackie? Do you put it in the rinse cycle? Do you just use regular white vinegar?

I don't use vinegar in the wash currently, but used to years ago. I just threw it in the compartment for fabric softener. I never measured. And yes, regular white vinegar.

I've been using just dryer balls for awhile now and don't have anything coming out static ever. They pop up on some of those deal a day sites on occasion (babysteals, mamabargains, greenbaby, etc) which is how I got mine. Much cheaper that way. Wink
