Thread: Flats!

Just got some fluffy mail in today including 6 flats! Haven't ever used these before. I've got tons of covers, snappis, and pins.
Anyone here use flats?
Any tips or helpful websites for me?

Hehe. I have some but haven't ever used them. They're my JIK diapers and I've never made it that deep into my stash!

I use flats all the time, they are my night time nappies.
http://www.realnappiness.co.uk/acata...t_Nappies.html This one has some nappy folds, I use a kite fold on Ronin, I was using a chinese fold which is great for boys, but I wasn't able to snappy it up well and I don't want to use pins (I'm scared of jabbing him or me)

Flats at night?! Interesting! I don't know why but my brain is resisting that idea. lol.

Wendy - do you double diaper at night or something? I've been doing one L prefold double stuffed with a S and a stay-dry liner. Most nights it works but if she nurses all night she usually requires a change around 4am. Any attempt to switch to something more sophisticated results in disaster.

Nope just one nappy with pilchers over them. The terry flats I have just keep soaking it up, they are just like a towel. In the morning he is pretty wet and so is the nappy, but it works. I had him in a pocket one night last week and he soaked it so much we got a leak, never had that with the flats.
