    Default Hemp Inserts

DD has been leaking a bit at nap time at school so I've been doubling up on the microfiber inserts that came with her diapers. Its fixed the problem but I don't have enough inserts! Yay! Shopping! What's this hemp business all about? Is it really that awesome? Does it wick as quickly as microfiber? Does it hold more? What brands of hemp inserts have you used? I have rather large/long WAHM pockets to use for this purpose so size doesn't necessarily matter but I'd prefer something trim because its a daytime diaper and my lady likes to get her little toddler groove on.

Hemp is a good back up layer for pockets. I would't use it by itself. It holds a lot, but doesn't absorb nearly as fast as microfiber and bamboo. Also most are really thin, so it doesn't add nearly as much bulk as a microfiber insert!
We have a few Hemp Babies Large Diaper Doublers that we use at night in our pockets underneath bamboo inserts. Chances are one hemp under a microfiber will be more than adequate for a nap time solution. Heck, we probably only need one bamboo and one hemp insert for at night but out of habit I use two bamboo inserts. lol

Yeah, I was thinking of sticking the hemp exterior to a microfiber insert. Good to know they're thin. I might even get a few more and start using those in my night diapers. The bulk of 3 microfiber inserts is insane.
