Not sure what you mean about "found wool diapers" for me wool is a cover not the absorbant part of the diaper. While wool will absorbe twice it's wight in liquid I am not sure I have seen a 100% wool diaper. Link?

it is a cover. what prefolds do you use with them though? how do you attach the prefolds or do they just sit in the cover?

Do you have a pic of the cover? Prefolds or fitteds will work. If the cover pulls on like underwear, you'll probably find it easiest to fasten the diaper on baby (either with snaps if the diaper has them or a snappi if it doesn't) and then pull the cover over. You can do the same if the cover has tabs or you can just fold a prefold and lay it in the cover.
