I made a diaper from the same material as the wipes. It's a pocket fitted with the flannel on the inside, and I guess it's a minky outer? What's the difference between velour and minky?
It's a little rough looking, but it's nice and trim and it held up for as long as my other diapers.

Just so you know for next time. Minki will wick the wet away from baby so good on either side of a fitted but the flannel will stay wet next to the skin and better for the outside. Anyway it can be used inside out? Flannel is fine next to the skin though and it looks nice and trim how many layers did you use or is that it and then you add stuffing?
Heehee... actually I meant to put the minkee on the inside but as I was sewing I realized I was doing it wrong... lol However, I'm glad it ended up on the outside because I used it for 2 and a half hours without a cover and it didn't get damp at all on the outside.
There's one layer of minkee, and with the built in soaker, there's 4 layers of flannel and there's also the pocket to add more stuffing.
My first attempt at dyeing wool.

what method did you use for dying? i have read some about koolaid dying and was thinking of trying it.
I made another diaper from the same material in a larger size and I added minkee over the flannel soaker for a stay-dry layer.

And Ella's baby dolls need to be in cloth too.
