I made tshirt fitteds today. soaker part is an old bath towel. They were so fun!! I need to get some real materials to make other fitteds. I made the soaker a 2 pc to help dry them faster.

Very cool t-shirt dipes! I need to do this with some of my old t-shirts. I'm guessing you live somewhere near Love Field with that green shirt! MY DH used to work there and flies in and out of there sometimes.

Everything is sooooo cute! Love the ruffles!

Elaine, what yarn is that! The whole outfit is adorable!

And I am seriously laughing about the Set Love Free dipe!!! We fly through Dallas a LOT and even more when we lived in Austin. I DO hope the Wright amendment gets repealed, but that is another story. As a dipe, super funny and cute. What size/pattern are you making?

It already didi but i think its in phases right now. Should be almost complete.

The diaper pattern is the newborn free pattern from Darling Diapers but i modified it so the soaking part isnt all together (flaps out like the imse vimse fitted i got) to make it faster drying. I washed them already and they do dry faster this way.

I am finally posting pics of my first two pair of knitted longies. They are both the Woolly Wonderpants pattern. I think I'd like to try the Perfection Pants pattern too, but the gusset scares me, lol! Anyway, the purple one is "Vineyard" on Cestari Superfine by Make Lemonade, and the blue is "Sea King" on Bulky Gaia by Make Lemonade. Neither pair are perfect by any means, but I am enjoying knitting for sure!

    and action shots:

ignore the messy house in the backgrounds, we've all been sick and cleaning has been the last thing on my mind...

Yup! Jenny, they are really cute!

Which yarn base did you prefer? I have been playing with different bases trying to figure out my favorite. So far, I have tried Cestari Superfine, 3-ply Merino, BBR, and then the plain old Patons and Fisherman's from Michaels. The cestari is nice because it is so vibrant and it wears great! No pilling yet!!! But the variation is a little nutty sometimes and it feels more like cotton than squishy yummy wool to me. I did like the 3 ply and was surprised at how well I liked knotting it. I have yet to see how well it wears though because the pants were a bit small. I am not frogging them - lol- so I will just have to sell them. I need to get my camera and take pics soon.
