I love the doll cloth. Seriously, if I had a little girl, her dolls would have a rockin' stash!

I have to share what I made yesterday b/c I'm too excited to wait until Christmas for them to be opened by their recipient.

I made some reusable kitchen towels for my SIL's Christmas gift. I used plastic canvas for the tube for them to roll up on rather than a cardboard one from paper towels. Just seemed more durable, since reuse is the point, kwim?

I love how they turned out. I need to make some for us now.

Finally got them off the needles to show. I haven't done the drawstring yet. I can't find my double pointed needles, it has been several years since I used them last.

I love the unpaper towels! What kind of fabric are they made of? Do they attach to one another with velcro or something?

Thanks, they were something I was practicing on. Trying to develope a pattern (they also have a gusset, but I put too many stiches in the gusset, so it looks like a ball sack or something. Also, I did one leg at a time, then the body, don't like that way very well. Also, still can't find my double pointed needles, so the legs have seams in them. They are size small, so won't fit Robby. I'm still going to tinker with that pattern a little more before I make a larger size. I still have some of the yarn I am going to use to make Robby a pair of curly purly shorties.

Susan, have you tried the Aubrey Doodle Pants pattern? It's really an easy pattern to get down to kind of relearn knitting. I tried to do my own pattern and it just didn't work very well, so I tried this pattern at the recommendation of a few people and it was great. Now that I get it more, I am going to try my own pattern again.

The pants you made look great thought! They are so cute.

Oh, I've been knitting for a long while, just haven't needed my double pointed needles in a long time. Primarly I've been doing sweaters, scarfs, baby booties, baby hats, baby coats and baby blankets. I'm just real particular about getting something that I really want out of a pattern. Before I get the pattern I really want, I've got to make several diff versions stressing different traits first.
