I love them all. Catherine, that colorway is gorgeous! I'm going to really start putting an effort into learning knitting, and also learning to use my sewing machine in the new year. So Hopefullly I'll be able to participate in this thread by february![]()
For SIL, the key chains have pics on both sides.
Basket made and bag I loom knitted for MIL
Dryer balls. I only had time to felt them twice but they will get tighter and more felted as they are used. I made 3 different colored sets. Here is a pic of one of the sets.
And I also made 8 jars of milk bath tea. Here is a pic of one of the jars. I made 8 and they all had diffrent ribons.

oh those are awsome i love getting/giving gifts like that!
Love the color of these longies! I've started (just cast on, about to go back to it) my first soaker. My first knitting project ever! I worked my way through knittinghelp.com and the Knitting for Dummies book (it's weird, some I could get from the videos and the book didn't help, and some I could NOT get from the video and the book helped, I'm a weirdo!). Wish me luck, knitting in the round for the first time. I will probably post some HILARIOUSLY ugly photos once I'm done, haha
pw dyed by me and knitted up by me. I really like how these turned out. I'm going to play with my dying technique to see if I can eliminate pooling in the body.

great job on the dying and on the longies they look so cute on your adorable little one! i tried my hand at koolaide dying today i don't really think the metod that i used was the ebst one so i am going to experiement with some other methods. What dying method did you use for yours?
I used my sewing machine for the first time ever yesterday. After countless jams and 2 broken needles and almost 3 hours, here is my first embellished prefold. I apologize in advance to the experienced seamstressesBelieve me, it looks even worse IRL
And my second attempt, done this morning in 45 minutes, no broken needles and only 1 jam. I think a huge improvement!
eta They are Tickety Bu prefolds, I added the embellishments to make them snappiable. I wasn't joking about being a total sewing virgin![]()
