So I have specific diapers we use for bedtime vs. daytime. The bedtime diapers are stinky for the first time since we started using them 11 months ago. Daytime diapers are not stinky at all. Would you just strip the overnight diapers? Do you think I need to change my wash routine, or just plan on stripping the overnights every so often? Anyone else have this issue?
TIA

Night time diapers get hit hard because they often sit there for so long with lots of pee. I'd say mine start smelling before the others. If you strip them in the washing machine like I do, then its really no more work to strip all of them so I tend to just strip the whole batch at once. I'd say your wash routine is probably fine if you've been doing it for 11 months and are only now having problems. If the problems persist then maybe take a look at your wash routine.
It's not unusual to need to strip, even if you have a great routine just due to junk in your water. Since this is the first time you've had issues, I'd say your washing routine is good!
If I strip just night or all my diapers depends on how many diapers I'd have to do and how much time I have. I prefer to strip everything and start anew, but there was once where I just did night diapers since they were awful. Just having all that pee sit in them alerts you to issues way sooner usually.

I agree with everyone else. The only ones I've ever had stink were our night ones, but I strip them all.
