    Default Sunbabies question

Is the pocket opening in the Sunbabies in the front or back? The one thing I do not like about the Kawaii I do have is that the opening is in the front. I'm thinking of getting some Sunbabies, but wanted to know that first! Also, does anyone know the difference in rise between Sunbabies, and any of these: BumGenius, Kawaii, Fuzzibuns, Rumparooz pockets? I find the Rumparooz is the smallest, Kawaii the biggest so where does Sunbabies fall?

Sunbabies openings are in the back and the Kawaiis I have are also in the back. I've never seen a pocket that has an opening in the front. My Kawaiis are night time diapers so I'm not sure if their rise is representative of the line as a whole but their rise is higher than my Sunbabies. I have one BG and the rise on that is higher than my Sunbabies. Probably close to that of the Kawaiis.

The openings are in the back. The only other brand I know that opens in the front are katydid-- now Oh Katy. Even my Kawaii is the back. RaR goes have the smallest rise setting, but I found they were too bulky between the legs to use when A&A were small enough for the smallest rise. I would say the rise settings are similar to BG. BUT there are now 2 sizes available for Sunbabies. Size 1 and size 2. BG falls slightly in the middle I think. Both are OS fits most. I think Alaina could probably stay in size 1 till PT because she's has a tiny waist- although size 2 fit her well, too. Aiden has wider hips, so size 2 work best for him, but can still fit into size 1-- on the last hip setting, on the med rise. HTH. I also wanted to add that I have A&A on the med rise setting on both size 1 and 2 Sunbabies now, but will prob need to go up soon on the size 1.

I have never seen a Kawaii with the opening in the front honestly! Kawaii is a very high rise diaper compared to most. DS has a long torso so the higher rise has worked out well for us. The medium setting on a Kawaii is the same size as the largest setting on my Bitti Tuttos and Bum Cheeks diapers!

So I just did some searching around, apparently the round tab Kawaii pockets have the pocket in front. And just those do I think, not any of the other Kawaii diapers.

"I’d like to mention that the Kawaii ROUND TAB has a not-so-like-able feature (at least to us). The pocket to put the insert in is at the front of the diaper. I didn’t think it would be an issue but it really was. To get a good fit, you need to pull the diaper up and over baby’s private area, but when doing so, this shifts the insert and opens up the pocket. It typically takes me 3 or 4 tries to re-adjust it well enough to my standards. Because I dont find the round tab any different except for that, I will prefer to use the square tab and leave the front pocket to others."

I noticed JBN has a picture showing that the opening is in the front (if you click through the pictures), but it's not in their description for that particular diaper. Maybe send them a message asking that they update their diaper description since I know that I assumed (like most people) that all of the Kawaii diapers are the same and have the opening in the back!

Everyone already said they open in the back. I find them pretty comparable to Fuzzibunz in rise I guess (I don't use BGs so I really have no point of reference there), and I also find the Kawaiis to be pretty huge (at least the specific line I have is), Sunbabies are definitely much smaller than Kawaiis.
