    Default Think this is enough?

36 prefolds (some indian & some chinese cotton)
    3 Flip OS covers
2 Wolbybug OS covers( I googled reviews on these and they seemed to get overall good reviews even though I never really heard of them. Bought them from Cloth Diaper Outlet.)
3 Size 1 Applecheeks with 4 microterry inserts
6 Size 1 Sunbabies with 12 microfiber inserts
1 Royal Fluff Pocket (I bought this off of Zullilly even though I never ever heard of this brand and reviews said it was basically an Alva, but it was cheap & cute so I figured why not try it?)
    2 Snappis
    1 wet bag

I plan to start CDing this baby once he is out of the tiny newborn stage. My mother & a couple friends have given me so many newborn disposibles that I figure I will use them up and then put him in cloth. I don't think people get it when you say you are CDing your baby! Someone even gave me a Diaper Genie... Ugh. I guess I can try to sell it on Craigslist. Anyway, that is my stash so far. Do I need to buy anything else? What do most people use for a diaper pail? Do you buy an actual diaper liner like one from Planet Wise? TIA!

That's a great start and from there you can see what you like and don't like. Prefolds have different sizes, so as to when they'll work best depends on your baby's size and the prefold size (and if you're trifolding or using something like the angel fold for them).
As far as a pail goes, I know some people use a hanging one. Others just use a large wet bag. I use a pail liner. I started off with 2 Planet Wise liners but they both leaked after a year, so now I'm trying the cheaper Kissa white ones. So far so good but it's only been a few months. I like having two so that I can put the 2nd in the pail as I wash the 1st one in the washer with the CDs. I put my liners in a cheap $10 plastic trash can from Walmart. Mine has a lid, but air flow does help so I try to leave mine open at times. You don't need a trash can and pail, just something to put them in.
Ummm....you might want to have something CD safe for butt cream but you've got awhile and can wait on that till time gets closer and you know how sensitive he is to stuff. CJs BUTTer and Angel Baby are the two big ones people seem to use on here. We don't use it every time (I had to always have something on my son's butt when he was in disposables!), but it's nice to have something just in case that I don't have to worry about affecting my diapers.

I'm here. I didn't respond because I had no idea, I'm still figuring out what is enough myself. Is it weird that I'm super excited about the possibility of moving so that I can get a top loading washer?

I'm here, but almost out of cloth so haven't been around here much. It looks like a good starting stash. For a nappy bucket I just bought a nappy bucket, which is basically a big plastic bucket with a lid. I never used a liner either, just tossed them in and cleaned my bucket out with a rinse and a eucalyptus spray every time I washed. I would sometimes throw in some rockin green pail powder as well but hardly ever remebered so I still have an almost full container.

Not silly at all Anna! After the issues you've had I can't blame you! You have a very fluffy future in store for you.

Okay, anyone not from my son's birth board around?

LOL I'm around, but I feel like such a newbie still that I have no idea

It looks good to me, though! I look forward to hearing which is your favorite kind!

Thanks ladies. I bought some Kawaii pockets as well and one of their covers. I was very tempted to buy 4 used rumperooz from someone on our local diaper swap today, but I decided to wait... I know I need to be buying other baby stuff like a crib and I just keep wanting to buy diapers!

We have pockets of various kinds and the Rumerooz one sized are MUCH smaller than other brands. So just keep that in mind!
