Default What's your front load HE wash routine?

Hi everyone. I haven't been around in a long time, but I lurk occasionally. I thought this would be a good place to start. We just bought a new washer and I was wondering if you would share your CD washing routines. I have CD'd my now 2 year-old since birth, but in an old school top loader. It just died. I had a really good routine that's been working, but now I'm going to have to figure out how the front loader works.

My routine now: soak in warm water for a few hours. Pre-wash. Hot wash with 1/4 of the regular amount of original tide powder. Second rinse.

    Thanks in advance!

I have a Maytag Bravos X top loading HE set. It actually has a setting called "Bulky" that will wash the load using a full tub of water. I use that when I'm stripping. It also has 2 settings called "Power Wash" and "Alergen". These already include a prewash, long cycle, extra rinse, and one of those will get my diapers really clean. I love this machine. I use just a regular detergent that is free of dyes and perfumes because we have sensitive skin issues and DS has eczema.

    No presoaking/water prior to washing
Rinse cycle (cold water, about 30 minutes)
Whitest Whites wash cycle with detergent (very hot water, extra rinse, it's about an hour and a half)
Normal Wash cycle without detergent (warm water with rinse, about 50 minutes)

    good luck!

Thanks! I ran my first load yesterday, I'm sure I'm going to have to experiment until I find what works. I did a quick wash on eco warm with no detergent and no spin, then I did a normal wash on hot with detergent and an extra rinse. So far, so good.
