Default Woohoo cloth diapers at daycare!!

I'm so excited I just have to tell someone! My daycare provider just agreed to use cloth diapers on the new baby next year! She'll even do prefolds (we trifold in Thirstie covers)!

I feel like an idiot for not asking if she'd cloth diaper my son when we started, we've been going to the same home daycare since he was 3 months old and I cloth diapered him from birth to potty except we did disposables at daycare because I never asked. She provides baby wipes for everyone but was very interested in cloth wipes when I mentioned them so we might provide those too. She said at a previous daycare center job they used cloth all the time.

I'm going to try to keep it simple with 2 options at daycare; prefolds trifolded in Thirsties (maybe Blueberry Coveralls when she's older) and Swaddlebees Simplex 2.0s (if we love them like I think we will during maternity leave). But with the prefold option I won't have to wash every night to keep her in the expensive easier Simplex! Woohoo so excited to be a full time cloth diapering family!

That's awesome! A bunch of my DDs classmates were CD'd at home but sposie'd at daycare until we started sending her with her cloth. They never thought to ask either. Soon enough almost half her class was CD'd! My DD's diaper cubby is a major selling point for CDing families who come to check out her school .

Hooray, I was surprised when I asked about cloth at daycare as well. It was one of the first things and I probably would have crossed a centre off the list if they wouldn't have allowed it. DS is one of two kids in his group who use cloth.
