How many Sunday Papers do you buy for coupons?

How many papers do you get?

If there are really good coupons I buy 2 and when my mom is done with her paper I get hers. If the coupons are ok I just get 1.

On Tuesday in the mail there is a coupon packet and we live in a condo development so there is a garbage can and on Wed. I just pick out all the coupon packets! So I can get about 10 of those!

I get just one paper, but they have a packet of coupons usually on Thursday as well as Sunday. My mom and I will sometimes swap coupons since we don't use all the same products.

I have 3 Sunday papers delivered plus I get my MILs Sunday paper. So I get 4 sets of coupons.

I don't buy papers. For some reason, we don't get all of the coupon inserts here. So, I order the inserts each week. That way, I am guaranteed to get all of the inserts.

Do you get a discount for having 3 papers? I asked our paper people and they said no!

Yes sorta! I pay .50 a day for the paper, then 1.50 for the paper on Sunday and an extra $1.00 for another sunday paper. However I'm getting ready to cancel one sunday paper. I don't have time for all the papers we get. LOL

I only get one, but I use so many generic products that I actually don't use many coupons. I still clip just in case I find a really good deal though.

We get gas at Kum and Go on Sun to get a free paper. If there are coupons that I need, I get together with a friend at work who raids the recycling bins and has stacks of coupons. Wink

I just get the Sunday only paper delivered, and 1 only. Especially since I'm not real great about getting all the coupons clipped from that one paper, I wouldn't have time to do more than that. Plus we don't have any stores that double/triple coupons so spending too much time on it isn't worth it.

I get four papers when I buy, especially when the P&G inserts are in there. Those are the good ones that give you awesome deals at Walgreens Smile

Right now I'm only getting one Sunday paper delivered. I was buying two, but decided to cut back to one because I didn't seem to be using two coupons for an item often enough to justify the monthly cost of two papers. Someone please tell me if they think I'm missing out by only getting one paper.

By the way, I don't clip coupons right away - I check online first (on a website like Southernsavers.com or similar one) to see which items are on sale (that I need) that have matching coupons and then clip the coupons I need for that week. Then I file the rest of the un-clipped coupons (inserts) away for possible use during the next few weeks (the website will tell me if there's an old, not-yet-expired coupon to go back and clip for a current sale).

I've decided to go on a financial diet and put us on a very tight budget, so I'm mostly only buying the groceries that we absolutely need (notice I said 'mostly.' I mean, a girl's gotta have her chocolate now and then, and some frozen yogurt doesn't hurt, either ;)).

Mmm...frozen yogurt sounds good!

I used to only buy one paper, but if you do shop at Walgreens, it's so beneficial to have more than one coupon. A lot of their register rewards are 2/$$, so when you have more than one coupon, you're getting the most for your savings. Plus, you can always roll your register rewards w/your coupons and it saves you even more. That's just me though. I completely understand only getting one paper at a time. The papers are expensive, so if you're not using majority of the coupons, it makes sense to only get one.

No coupons in the paper here, in fact, or local paper doesn't even publish on Sunday. We rarely buy the paper.
