Not sure if I am considered an old timer or not Deborah. But I am around. I can help liven things up if you like.

:wavehello: Jodi!

Have you heard from our adoptive mommies lately? I hope everything is going wonderfully for them.

(child ment) Hello ladies! It is nice to see you Smile I guess it's been a while, huh? We stopped ttc, I just can't bear the thought of another m/c and with my son came healing for many old hurts. Not all of them, but it has been amazing. We hope to adopt again in a couple years. I'm scheduled to have my gallbladder out on Thursday. I am so nervous, and not sure if I'll go through with it. Please keep me in your prayers if you remember, thanks!

I'm SO GLAD you posted!!! HOw are you my love? I missed you. I'm so glad you have a home full of love to help heal your heart. How big/old is your son now? Time is flying by. I'm sorry you are going thru Gallbladder troubles. PAIN! I will definately be thinking about you on Thursday. I'm sure it will bring you relief.

I forgot our other friend's name from Ontario on here with the two adopted l/o's. Have you kept in touch? I wish her well too.

AFM, we were blessed with some financial support from UBC. We are starting an IVF cycle now. I"m one week in and about 5 more to go. I was thinking about it today that i'm excited to get this ball rolling and 'get it over with'... meaning if it doesn't work that I 'might' try one more time with my savings... but that will be it for our ttc efforts. If we get a surprise will of course that is awesome. But I need to have some closure one way or another. ITs been a long ride. Not as long as some, but i've sure obsessed... like most I guess.

Hugs to everyone.

Love Deb

Hey Deb!

This board has gotten rather slow so I don't check in often anymore, but I'm glad to see you have your IVF cycle underway! How you feeling?

Hi girl, i'm doing ok thanks. How are you?
I'm not working and its been good for me. I'm trying to be the homemaker, well not doing all of the cleaning believe you me Lol but its been fun cooking and gardening and well... relaxing.

The bcp makes me very nauseous, I puked a few times but I think i'm getting used to it now. The real fun will start with the injections.

Kirsty... thats who i'm missing. Right?

Deb,
Good luck on your IVF cycle! I really hope you are successful the first time!

Yes, you remembered correctly, Kirstie is our friend in Canada. We've been able to stay in touch, she is working full time and as you remember, mom of two tots now.

Jenn, our little military friend is pregnant and baby is doing good.

My little J is 2yrs old now! It's amazing. I don't want to blabber on about him, but I am so glad to be his mom! We'd like him to have an older sister in a year or two.

Gallbladder surgery tomorrow.... (deep breath) I just don't feel ready for it.

That reminds me, setting up this surgery was really emotional for me. I HATE seeing new doctors and having to go over your medical history each time. Why does the surgeon need to know I've had 0/6 live births? I was an emotional wreck just from filling out the paperwork. Listing previous surgeries just brought it all back...ugh! Well, that part is over and I hope it is a long time before I have to write it out again. Wish me luck tomorrow!

I'm doing fantastic! I've started running again so I'm pain, but I'm happy to be doing it again. I'm training for a 13k run at the end of September...not sure what I was thinking when I decided to do that lol.

Otherwise, we're trying to sell our condo and move into a house. Real estate is really slow around here so it may not happen for a bit.

Hi Deb. How are you? I had to have surgery to remove a fibroid the size of a newborns head. I fought for this to be removed prior to us using our insurance for IUIs, but the doctors kept telling me it wasn't making a difference. Well, now that I am out of fertility insurance they decide to remove it :violent2: I am still TTC, but on our own

Hi sweetie. Did I not reply earlier? I'm sorry. I was so preoccupied when you posted this. What a joke with your insurance eh? GRRRR. How are you feeling after the surgury? Wow, ok i'm a big girl and if it happened to me i'd be measuring my waist afterwards Lol How long to recover? Was it laproscopic surgery?

My IVF failed. I"m so sad. This might be the end of the road. We had decided only one IVF and then with any extra meds we'd try one last IUI. But I don't see how IUI will work when we didn't get any eggs to fertilize. I have to see my RE to find out more once i'm up to it. Not yet.

Hugs and i'm sorry I didn't post earlier.
