Thanks Jen! I'm feeling very excited, but I know you understand the nervousness, too. I just want to get through the next few weeks!
Now it's your turn! I feel really positive about this donor cycle for you! How goes the "mock" cycle so far?
Going okay here, started Lupron injections. It'll be a slow non-getting-pregnant month though! In the meantime I squeezed into a cute sexy Halloween costume but won't wear it out, Haha, all this snow! And I'm sure Sun/Mon will be cold. (It's on my FB page but I will upload all pics to Flickr on Mon/Tues)
I hear about being nervous but you are in the care of fertility experts now, which is great. They will monitor everything.![]()
Jean been checking today and saw your beta results on your space page. CONGRATS! I was right there, I think I was at 36 on my first Beta. This is so exciting!!!!
Can't wait to see your numbers grow....sending lots of sticky vibes your way!

Thanks Danny! It's funny....after I posted the numbers, I was thinking that your number was almost the same. Talk about crazy stalking, I actually went back to one of your older posts to look at what your number was!I'm hoping mine goes up just as nicely as yours did!
So exciting!!!!!

It is definitely nice right now to know it'll be monitored closely. 34.8 on the HCG today, and the nurse said that was fine as long as it goes up 60%-100% on Wednesday. So, we'll see what Wednesday brings.
LOL! I'll bet DH appreciates that Halloween costume. You definitely have it right about the cold! Holy cow! Did you have a lot of damage up by you? Lots of tree damage where I live, but not too bad. But, my school is closed today because the power is out in pretty much all of Morristown!
I hope the mock cycle goes relatively quickly for you! The waiting is the worst no matter what, but I imagine this kind of cycle can really make you a little nuts!
Have you had any more nibbles on the house?
Woot Jean, you're preggos!!!Lots of downed trees, branches, have power though. No nibbles on the house, it's winter time soon, so doubt we'll get any viewings which is fine, I can do IVF in peace that is. DH accidently dropped my bottle of Lupron tonight, he's phoning the clinic tomorrow. Luckily I have another bottle for now.
Sending sticky vibes and all for your beta on Wednesday. /hugs
I can see the advantage of not getting into the middle of the IVF process and then having to deal with the additional stress of potentially moving. Hopefully it'll be a smooth process for you.
Yikes on the bottle of Lupron!I would totally freak out!!! I'm glad you had another bottle to fall back on. Every time I handled one of those little vials of Follistim I was petrified I was going to drop or break them!
Well, AFM...the nurse just called. Today's beta was up to 66.9. That's a 92% increase by my math, so I'm pretty happy with that. The nurse said that was a good increase, but because the number started SO low, they still want to keep a close eye on it (something tells me it could have tripled, and they'd STILL be keeping a close eye on it.) More bloodwork on Friday.
But, it's moving in the right direction and still in the "normal" range, so I'm just still going along.
I have discovered the one advantage to the 2WW...I didn't have to get up so early!!! But, it's for a good cause of course.![]()
Jean I'm doing the happy dance here
Don't think they are going to let up any time soon on the testing....
I've had 6 quantative tests now for HCG/progesterone, 2 sonos and I'm still being watched like a hawk with more tests Monday....These RE's spend alot of time with us to get us to this point and they want to be extra special careful with us till we are 12 weeks!
(Then they send us off to our ob/midwife)

It is a lot, but for good reason. 3 blood draws already this week (and she had to stick me TWICE today because she couldn't manage to find the little vein in my other arm.) At least no super early mornings now until Wednesday!
