Well, I guess I'll be the first to post in the new thread (thanks for doing that, Kirstie!) My due date is April 5th 2007, which puts me at exactly 10 weeks today! I still can't believe it that after 11 nighmarish days, my baby is alive and well! Here are my first u/s pics- posted here first, of course! You cant see much cause the machine isn't that good and my lil bean is still itty bitty. But if you look close at the first one, you can see the little bud of an arm, and one of a leg too! It was so amazing seeing little bean kick and punch and wiggle around!

Wow, its been awhile since anyone updated this thread! I am FINALLY in my 3rd trimester....I cant believe that I only have 12 weeks to go. It seems like such a short time on one hand...but on the other it seems like an eternity away (esp. when I think about the fact that the EDD is 12/27!)

We went to our first Labor and Delivery class today. Very informative...Im glad I signed up. Our next, and final one is next saturday during which time we will have a tour of the facility and we will do pre-registration.

We also finished painting the nursery and expect to get our bedding in the mail this coming week. We also ordered our glider. I spent WAY more than I wanted to, but I figured it was a good investment. SO excited...I'll post pics when the nursery is closer to completion. Smile

That's awesome, Ellen! I'm so excited for you. Can't wait to see those nursery pics Smile

I still haven't got much to say-still feeling sick Sad But otherwise doing pretty well. I have an u/s on thursday, because of the bleeding episode I had on wednesday. I'm pretty sure we won't find any problem, since I've felt fine ever since. But I'll update again after my u/s, probably with more pics Smile

Melissa, hope you feel better soon. I am sure that everything will be ok.
Ellen, I too am in shock that I am in the third trimester already too. Hard to believe it! Time has really gone by fast. I too am slowly getting things together for the nursery. We have it painted, with the border up, the crib, rocker and changing table...now we just need to add all the decorative elements, along with the bedding set and we will be good to go. It is so much fun. I know what you mean about spending money though....it is so easy to do. Everything is so adorable.
The latest with me....I am anemic. At my last dr appointment, they found that my iron levels were low. So I have to take a supplement. Luckily, I passed the gestational diabetes test with flying colors. I have been feeling OK...just some lower back pain, hip pain when sleeping and occassional heartburn. I still have a lot of energy...which is good.
Good to hear from you all.

Sorry to hear about the anemia, and the pain. Fortunately, they should clear up after baby comes! Glad you passed your diabetes test- that saves you a real pain in the butt ( I had it with M, and will probably have it again with this one) Hope the anemia clears up super fast!

I'm a grad now! I had the BFP on Oct 7th, going in for my first u/s on the 19th. Got my bloodwork back on Friday, my HCG was at 10,200 - but my progesterone was only at 6.1 - so I'm on progresterone suppositories for now.

Loving watching everyone's progress!

Congrats on the BFP! And Laurie, you look great! Smile

I cant believe that I have only a little over 9 weeks left until the baby comes. We decided on a name...FINALLY!....Julia Addison. It took awhile to come to an agreement, but we are both happy with it. I had my shower last weekend and got alot of useful (and not so useful!!) things. I now have only a few more big ticket items and a bunch of little things to purchase. I think DH and I are going to go on a Target shopping spree this weekend. Smile

Oh, and one bit of possible bad news. I had my glucose screen a week and a half ago. I failed the 1 hour and then failed one draw for the 3 hour. They want me to come back at 32 weeks and get another 3 hour test done. YUCK! Sad If I have another failed draw they will classify me as a GD. BOO! Unfortunately, I am at a higher risk b/c diabetes runs in my family. I will keep ya'll updated.

Glad to see everyone is doing well.

ARRRGH! I just posted a really long post with pics and everything which I scanned and uploaded, and it took me like half an hour!!! And then I accidentally clicked on an ad, and lost it all! I'll post it again later Sad

Okay here it is! Ellen, sorry you are worried about gd. Fortunately, it is often easy to control with diet and exercise. Mine was Smile I love the name you picked, and might borrow Addison for my name list- which hasn't been started yet (I think I'm the only one on my pg board who doesn't even have a list, much less a name picked out!)

Joyce, I'm so glad that you and Jax are doing so well, that is great! Smile In answer to your question, no we aren't finding out the sex. I'm guessing girl, but DD thinks she's getting a baby brother so, we'll see in April! I had to go in for a maternity checkup on Tuesday, and everything is perfect, even my bp. Unfortunately, the doc couldn't get the h/b on the doppler, so I had to go to the maternity ward in the hospital. The nurse there tried 3 different machines and couldn't get the h/b either, so I went in for an emergency u/s. Little wiggle worm was just fine, happy as a clam in there! So that makes 4 u/s in the past 4 months! I'm scheduled for the "big" u/s on Monday, to do all the measurements, so that will be #5!

As to pictures- I'll post all my u/s pics so far. Eventually there will be a nursery pic, and probably some others. No belly pic, though. Because of my weight, I just look fat, not pg, and so I will probably never have a cute lil belly. *sigh Oh, well. I have been feeling little flutters, and sometimes a sort of rubbing feeling, but not frequently. Anyway, here are the u/s pics!

9 weeks

15 weeks (sorry, had to use a cookbook to keep it flat so I could scan it!)

16 weeks, 6 days

I guess this little baby doesn't like to be photographed- 4 u/s and not one really good pic! Lol

Thanks everybody!! My HCG was 231 yesterday :boogie:

So now I have to take it day by day until my first u/s. I have an appt scheduled for Tuesday, but I'm not sure he's going to do an u/s, it will probably be too early.

I just wanted to update, I had my first u/s today, and after nervous waiting....... We saw a healthy bean with a hb of 120 bpm!!

DH and I are thrilled! I do have a sub-chrono bleed that we will be watching, but the dr said it was very small and everything should be okay!

Rita, congrats on seeing your beans lil heartbeat, that is so amazing! Did you get a pic?

As for me, I schedule my next maternity checkup for next week- I'll be 21 weeks! I can't believe I'm finally halfway! :woohoo: I've been feeling the baby move quite a lot for the last 2 weeks or so- still nothing super strong, but enough that I finally feel pregnant! DH actually felt the baby for the first time last night. He had to push down to feel it, and it was faint, but he felt it anyways Smile That's it for now!
