And I'm not handling it as good as I could be.
I'm off all my meds. Have been sense Christmas. I just have not been able to remember to take them. My brain is mush, I'm *****y at the kids most of the time. I feel like a total mess. DH's family wants to go out to dinner at a rsatruant that he helped build (he was a contractor). Great, let me call the sitter...... well bil wants me to make the reservations. That means I need a head count, that he dose not have. He has a bunch of "maybe"s. He wants me to call everyone to see if they are or if they are not. WTF?? Just because I do not have a job right now dose not mean I am not working.
I feel like making a reservation for 6 and the other 20 "maybe"s can go to a drive-through. Good luck geting into this place on a Friday at 7 PM without a reservation![]()

Is this a fancy restaurant that the kids can't go? The firsts are really hard.

Well I talked to BIL yesterday. We decided to just make a reservation for 12 people and if 10 show we will just have more elbow room
It is not SUPER fancy, but it is nice. We have taken the kids there a lot over the years. I just want a nice dinner with adult conversation without having to keep track of the kids the entire time. It's going to be a 7 PM dinner. Their normal bed time is 7:30. So cranky kids that are up past their bedtime not wanting to sit and color or stay in their seats is not my idea of a fun evening out. Granted it is going to be a table full of their aunts, uncles and grandmother, but I am still the one that has to keep track of them all the time.
I want to eat a meal while it is still warm, for a change![]()
Oh, I totally hear ya. It's such a revelation whenever I go to a restaurant and a) I don't have to worry about a kids menu. and b) I don't have to ask my son to stay seated.
Warm meals are hard to come by!

thanksI'm laying low today and hope tonight is enjoyable. (If I'm lucky I might even get a designated driver so I can knock a few back
)
I think last week was harder for some reason than this week. I haven't been to that resatruant sense before he got sick. I'm not sure how it will hit me when I am actually inside, surrounded by all the wood work his hands created.
I just remind myself to keep breathing.
I strongly encourage getting a dd.
I think the week before is always a lot harder. It's just more time to worry. All the hurt and frustration is building up and then it happens and you think: Oh it was bad, but not as bad as I thought.
Each year it gets easier.
