My dh wrote this the day his dad passed away and I thought that i would share.
In my Father's Eyes
He was the kindest man than I have ever knew.
If there was someone that did not have anthing
He would give that person the shirt off his back.
When there was someone that didnot have food to eat
He would take food from out cubarts.
He always warned me about talking to strangers
But yet if he seen someone broke down along the road
he would stop and offer a friendl hand.
If there was a time when someone did not have a place to call home.
My father would invite them to take shelter under his roof.
He was a kind man that went on to father six sons.
And he did his best to pass on his love of life and famil on to us.
If you ever looked into my fathers eyes
You could see all of these traits in them.
WHen I thought of never beiing able to see those eyes again I began to cry and thought I had finished writing m Feelings down
Till the next day when I looked into the mirrow.
I seen something that made me feel a little better.
My fathers Eyes.
