Each year, Pregnancy.org is honored to join thousands from around the world in remembrance of all those pregnancies and young lives ending far too soon and in support of all who have experienced this pain. Many members (including those within Pregnancy.org admin) find this a time of healing, inspiration, and solace. Please join us throughout the week of October 9th - October 15th for a series of events centered on Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness.

Our very own "Ask the Midwife" expert, Cynthia Flynn, CNM is back again! She will be fielding your questions, offering tips and suggestions from everything from trying to conceive, dealing with the aches and pains of pregnancy, bringing on labor, and everything postpartum! Join Cynthia, Tuesday, October 10th at 6 p.m. Pacific / 9 p.m. Eastern. This month, Cynthia will be particularly focused on all those questions surrounding miscarriage, stillbirth, conceiving and pregnancy after a loss.

Join author, Clara Hinton, Wednesday, October 11th at 6 p.m. Pacific / 9 p.m. Eastern. Clara has launched a website specifically for this topic. SilentGrief.com, and the book of the same name, were created to lead you on a path of healing, support, and hope during your time of grief, loneliness, and depression. Child loss, whether miscarriage, stillbirth, or older loss, is a pain like none other. It is Clara's heartfelt desire that parents may receive daily nourishment, friendship, and support for child loss so that they will never have to feel alone or silent in grief again.

Join in our special peer-to-peer panel discussion led by Pregnancy.org Community Managers, MissyJ and Jules on Friday, October 13th at 11 a.m. Pacific / 2 p.m. Eastern. Unfortunately, this is a topic that we are familiar with. We truly understand the rollercoaster that rages long after everyone else decides you should be *healed.* Physically, emotionally, and for some, even spiritually -- a time for grief is needed before true healing can begin. Come share your story and together let's seek a message of hope as we make that journey towards healing.

According to Share, Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support, Inc., each year in the United States 26,000 stillbirths, 19,000 neonatal deaths, and over 900,000 early pregnancy losses are reported. Share has been helping bereaved families since 1977 -- serving those whose lives are touched by the tragic death of a baby through early pregnancy loss, stillbirth, or in the first few months of life. Visit their website for more information and / or ways that you can help support this very important cause.

Sunday, October 15th at 6 p.m. Pacific / 9 p.m. Eastern, Pregnancy.org members are encouraged to light a candle in remembrance of all those that have suffered a loss... whether personally or simply someone (even a fellow board member!) that you care about and wish to support. *Note* This chat will be unmoderated and is being held as a time to gather together, to share your thoughts, and to support one another.
