Red spots on soft pallet?????? UPDATED POST #4

Hunter woke up with a fever last night. We looked in his mouth to see his tonsils (he had a cold for almost 2 weeks now so I thought it was infected tonsils).... Well Hunter has red spots on his soft pallet. Looks like blood spots??? Weird... going to the doc at 1h
Anyone had experience with that before?

I have had loads of blood blisters in my mouth but normally when I've cut it on something like toast or pizza crust or another sharp food. I don't know what else it could be. KUP on what the doc says :bighug:

Hunter has infected tonsils (swollen and red) a ear infection on the left side and super swollen glands.... Doc said red spots were caused by fever and the infection. So antibiotic for 10 days. Fever broke now. I guess it's back to work for me tomorrow (took a sick day today to take care of him). His godmother volunteer to watch him tomorrow so I'm glad he doesn't have to go to daycare and he can take it easy for one extra day.

I guess they're at that age now that tonsillitis and other "fun" stuff starts...bummer. I hope he feels better soon!

Hope the antibiotics have kicked in a little and he's feeling better!

I'm glad you found out what the problem was. Liberty had this happen about a year ago... plus she was getting splotches on her face and body. Thankfully some antibiotics cleared it right up. I hope he feels better soon!
