What do I do at night??

Hey ladies, so Liberty is fully potty trained during the day time with zero accidents. I put a pull up on her at night for accidents. I tried to leave her naked or in panties overnight, but every time she pees and wakes up screaming in a wet bed. I can't remember having to deal with this with my boys, as I swear when they were potty trained during the day they didn't have accidents at night. Is there anything different that I should be doing with her, or will she just come around to it on her own?

I would just put the pull-up on her at night, both my older 2 needed pull-ups at night after being potty trained during the day. It can take kids a while to get to the point of waking up dry. If its something that you really want to do or she is resisting the pull-up, I would limit drinks at night and keep pushing that cut off time by an 1/2 hour until she gets to the point of waking up dry.

I limit drinks for an hour before bed, make sure he at least tries to go before he goes to bed and wake him up to pee when we go to bed. We have only had 2 night accidents since Easter, one he was ill and the other was my fault really because he said he was thirsty at bed time so I gave him a drink

My 5 1/2 year old still wears a pull up at night "just in case". It beats having a middle of the night clean up. 9 times out of 10 he wakes up dry but still. One thing you can try if you haven't already is limiting how much she gets to drink before bed. We try bare minimum after 7. I was concerned about him because we hadnt had a bed wetting problem, but after doing a dip stick urine on him just to be sure there wasn't something wrong, his PED was confident in saying that he is just being lazy about it.

Ugghh the limiting drinking at night might be a problem because there's no way she'll go to bed without a cup of milk. She has a sippy cup of milk in bed every night, and I know if I try to take that away she'll flip out... I appreciate the suggestions though! I guess she'll just be in a pull up until I see that she wakes up dry lol...

Ryken wears a diaper at night because there is no way we could limit drinks. He always has a sippy of water with him, it's like his 2nd comfort item

Yep, this is Liberty. There's no way I could take away her milk... sometimes she comes back into our room and asks for seconds lol! Like Ryken, it's a comfort thing to get her to settle down for bed I think...
