Weight is up 3 lbs, BP excellent. They did my GBS and he checked my cervix. I was so disappointed to hear that it was up high and no dilation or anything. UGH I just have all this crap going on that I feel like I should be somewhere other than the beginning! Ryan was super active during the appointment. He was rolling all over the place so the nurse had a hard time getting his heartbeat. It was a strong 140 when she finally got him to sit still. Then when the doctor came in to measure my stomach Ryan started again and he got to see him in action. Doctors comment "Wow, that's a strong boy in there." He also commented on the fact that he takes up my entire uterus so he has no room to move. I wanted to say DUH....lol That's why he moves so much. He is pi**ed that he has nowhere to go so he is trying to make space. My doctor is going to be out of town next week so I had to schedule my appt with another doctor in the practice. Thankfully I am familar with this doctor so it shouldn't be a big deal. All in all everything is going well. My son is healthy so that is all I can ask for really.
Sounds like a great appt to me!
My appt at 36weeks was exactly like yours. Try not to let the cervical check get you down. You cAn go from nothing to something in a matter of minutes.
I have an appt tomorrow and I'm debating with myself if should asked to be checked. I just don't know if I should and get my hopes up.
Glad you had a great appt!

Glad you are feeling better Jessicah. =)
Like others have mentioned, dilation/effacement really don't mean much & plenty of people that don't have either get there quickly for no real reason. Labor is such an unknown. =/

Glad you had a good appt! I know what you mean...I think my LO is out of room too but she still moves around and kicks like crazy. She's "strong like ox". LOL
