Achy Sex? (TMI)

So yesterday DH and and I finally DTD for the first time in over a month...and I was/am so sore today all in that area. Is this normal???? Poor DH I have a feeling it will be a while until the next session...

We kinda stopped doing it a month or so ago. It's just too uncomfortable for me to get anything out of it and even if I have an O without intercourse, my uterus contract and feels achy for hours afterward.

That happens to me, too. I am done DTD. I keep saying that, then we wait a couple weeks and try again. LOL. I get really crampy/swollen feeling for almost the whole next day. It's just uncomfortable -- hard to walk, etc. I'm sure you'll be feeling fine tomorrow, unless of course you do it again tonight. Wink

everything feels really sore lately!!! I tend to get very sore normally even when I'm not pregnant, but i have noticed lately I feel so much pressure down there even if we have not done anything in a week. I can't even imagine how much more pressure I would feel if we had!! its very achy and swollen feeling. I feel like something is going to fall out... and that is WITHOUT having sex.

I feel this way when my bladder is too full too.

Glad to know I'm not alone although I hope everyone starts to feel a little better. I am back to my normal waddle now so its better but I don't forsee us attempting anything again until I'm 36 weeks...the cramps afterwards scared me.

I am the minority...I still LOVE sex. It's getting tricky, but we are still very active. I more than him. I am terrified of not being able to have sex for 6 weeks. Sad

I only hurt for about 30 minutes right after... definitely not into the next day though. I would say go ahead and stop at this point if it's that bad. My doc always says sex is fine as long as you're still comfortable with it. In the past month I've definitely been having a lot less sex than usual (and you all know I'm like a teenage boy in that department lol!)... like maybe once a week. It's getting very uncomfortable for me now, but I'm up for trying different positions so it's been OK... and like I said I don't have contractions or anything afterwards. So in the end you have to do what's best for you. I know it's hard on men, but you should really try and make him understand what it feels like... and he should be supportive of your feelings and decision.

Sex...? Not often these days. Poor DH. It gives me painful cramps or contractions or whatever they are for quite a while after and that scares me enough to make it unenjoyable.
