anyone for team green?

i'm definitely not a team greener unless the baby forces us to go that route!

seems like everyone is finding out the gender, are there any team greens?

Nope, not me. We're pretty sure they're two boys but we should find out with more certainty this afternoon (and if not for some reason, the big ultrasound is in another two weeks).

I feel like having a kid is enough of a surprise already and then getting to meet them will be a big enough thrill that I won't need the extra excitement of finding out the sex on the big day. Besides, the naming issue is really what worries me. We're having a tough time coming up with two names as it is, I can't imagine having to come up with three or four! I would think I'd feel weird about choosing a girl name, not using it, and then reconsidering it again with another child years later (though I think we're done with this one pregnancy!)

Before I was pregnant I always said I wanted to wait to find out, but then once we were actually pregnant I thought about the all the time...there's no way I could wait! But, I think it's pretty cool when people are on team green, I just couldn't do it myself.

No team green for us. I am too much of a planner!

HAHA, that's funny! It would drive me crazy not to know the sex of the baby. I mean a surprise would be fun but it would always be in the back of my mind.

I wanted to be, but DH wasn't having it! He made me so mad with the whole thing! We already have four boys and one girl (including his two from a first marriage), so it doesn't really matter... since we got our girl the last time! He suggested that the tech only tell him the sex, but that wasn't flying... so we're team blue!

We have considered this.

Jenn, I knew he wouldn't be able to keep his mouth shut about it... but if you have a "grown up" DH then you're fine LMAO!

My Dh would tell me a different gender every day just to toy with me.

Yep, Team Green here! Wow, we really are in the minority eh?

It doesn't drive me crazy wondering what the sex of our baby is. What WOULD drive me crazy is being told GIRL and getting a surprise BOY (or vice versa). And I have heard of that happening far too many times, so that is one of the reasons we wait! Biggrin

Nicole - complete side note. Just read your signature and had a little laugh to myself. Your blinkie says "Home made, Home Birthed" and I immediately thought "ha, my DS could be "Hospital Made, Hospital Birthed" since he was an IVF baby. Sorry, so dumb, but it made me laugh.

My husband can't keep a secret. He gets too excited. Even at Christmas he always has to give hints as to what he got me. He's like a little boy! LOL

I'm team green too!! I am getting real curious but not caving in yet. If baby decides to offer up the goods during the anatomy scan and we happen to see it I am fine with it, but DH doesn't want to know. Sure makes shopping for cute clothes a little bit harder though. But we are getting so many things from friends we will hardly have to buy any anyways.
