baby books

Will you have one? Will you fill it out? What about for your other LO's of you are a BTDT?

I had one for my DS but stopped filling it out before he turned 1. I blog so I could just print that out one day and stick it in the book.

I am the MOST horrible at that! I try to keep up with the height stuff and chart that with pics on a little thing we hang on the wall... and pictures. I am lucky to have pictures. haha

Yes! It's on my list of things to buy! I've looked at a few, but wasn't too crazy about them. I've just been jotting down things like when we found out, first time we heard the heartbeat, etc. We have a baby book for DS and I am super good about filling it out! I hope I can be that good this time around!

I got an adorable Flower Fairy Baby Book for Corinna. I still need to fill in some gaps and get some pictures printed, but otherwise it is filled out. I'm a little sad that she's outgrown it.

I'm thinking of getting the same one for my next little girl. After all, the interior will be totally different.

I will definitely have one. I'm not the best with filling them out, but a few times a year I make myself pull them out and work on them with pictures and such! This is the one I'll be getting for Trystan. All of my other kids have these baby books, and I'm glad that they have a fourth style (although I'm not a huge fan of the duck on the front, which is the one I'm getting for Trystan, but I don't want two of the same baby book)! DS1 has the blue book with the white outfit, DS2 has the white book with the blue outfit (which I don't think is shown), and DD has the pink book with the white dress on it! They're a little on the pricey side, but I don't care as they're so beautiful! Check them out...

I blog too, but even my blog has suffered these days...I've just had so much going on. I would love to do a baby book, but I'd like to pick it out myself. I think it's kind of personal and would prefer to get my own....or maybe even just create my own with a scrap book.

We have one based off the Guess How Much I Love You book

It is so cute Smile I am really going to try to fill it out completely. I have the full year off work, I have no excuse not to do it!

This post reminds me that I need to get one! I was good about filling out our wedding book and first year book so I hope I will do well with a baby book. My mom filled mine out to 5 years. I hope I can do our baby's that long.

My sister in law gave me one piece of advice concerning this. Write all the stuff on the family calendar; first step, smile, etc. Than once in awhile transfer it to the baby book. I much easier this way as this is what I did for DS.

I was pretty good about this with Brynna for awhile. In hers I even drew in a mouth and marked each tooth in the order they appeared and the date...lol Ryan will definitely have a baby book. I just don't know how good I'll be about filling it in.

Ha - with Deacon's teeth I started saying "around 7 months" and then I just started to check them off like "yeah, you got this one too" LOL

Wow, I didn't even know this was a thing that's done. I'll just try to remember to take pictures and hopefully print some out occasionally or at least back them up!
