Baby Movements..

Does your baby have days when they aren't moving as much? It seems like every few days Connor decides to take a day off and it scares the crap out of me!!

I've had a few days like this too. My baby usually stays on a pattern of active/quiet times, but every once in awhile, I will realize that I haven't felt her lately and it will freak me out. She is getting big enough now that I can usually poke her and get some sort of reaction.

Ryan goes through spurts like that as well. And like Carrie I just give my belly a few little pokes and he usually responds. Maybe I should quit doing that because when he comes out he may want to exact revenge on me for waking him up....lol

Yes. The boy moves constantly and he seems to be really affected by everything I do - standing up, eating, peeing, anything really. But I have gone several days in a row without feeling the girl. She's always fine when they check on her but I guess she's just lazier!

Yea, there are def days she is quieter. I will poke at her and I'll usually get a poke back and that satisfies me haha.

Same here - quiet days. My OB told me it was normal and if I get worried to have some OJ and lay down on my left side and count kicks. You want to feel 6 in an hour.

My baby had the strangest movments a few days ago. I was seriously worried that she was having a spasm or seizure or something.

That's what I was talking about. I'm sure it's normal because all my kids did it. Their nervous systems are still developing so twitchy movements occasionally are normal.

She will have a few quiet periods yeah...especially when I'm at work and not paying attention I guess. She doesn't ever really stop completely, but she does have days where I think she's going to come bursting out between my ribs or something, and days where she is just rolling a little very slowly. So I still worry just the same, lol

Same thing here...my baby seems to have a lazy day every 3 or 4 days or so. Like she's worn out from all the movement from the previous days and needs a rest, lol. It kinds freaks me out too. I asked my OB about counting kicks and she said I don't need to count kicks until 32 weeks, even though everything I have read says to start counting them around 28 weeks.
