Baby shower (pic heavy)

Yesterday we had our first baby shower in my hometown! My mom was in charge of the guest list so it was mainly her friends, co workers, and family. We got a lot of clothes and girly stuff, along with some gift cards and cash. There was pink and purple everywhere!
It was really fun, and I'm worn out today from unpacking everything and organizing the nursery before our next shower on the 22nd. I'm attaching lots of pics! The nursery is coming along and I will post pictures when its all finished Smile

Whoa girl you racked up!!!! What a pretty shower. Whoever did the diaper cake did a great job.

As for the monitors- I would go with the top one. The bottom one seems bulky and you will like the portability to move the monitor around.

Thanks everyone! My mom made the diaper cake Smile

I was thinking the same thing about the monitor. I registered for the table top one as opposed to the handheld though because we have a one story house that's not huge. But DH pointed out today that the portable one would be nice to take into the living room or kitchen with us instead of having to walk back into our bedroom....so we will probably end up keeping that one.

Oh wow - your pictures are great! You got so much stuff and your mom did an amazing job on all the food and decorations. I love the quilt for the crib!

I have a hand held monitor too.

That all looks wonderful Katie!! I love the watermelon baby fruit tray- so creative! I'm so glad you had a good time, looks like you got some great gifts.
As for the monitor- I would keep the handheld one too. We had the other one and it is sort of bulky and kind of an inconvenience to lug around the house.
