Thread: Birthday cake

I'm doing cupcakes because then I don't have to worry about cutting the cake. Claire is a bit of a Mommy clinger in crowds so I fully expect to be holding her for most of her party. I was going to make them myself but DH has a big test this week and won't be around to watch C who now wants to "help" Mommy in the kitchen so I think I'm just going to order them with Plain white frosting from the grocery store and decorate myself.

You have me convinced to make cupcakes instead. They sound like they would be easier to make, decorate and serve.

We ended up just making cupcakes. I will post a pic when I get to it. It was way easier than a cake.
