Thread: Birthday Pics???

Krystal and Shiela, Any birthday pics to post?? I'd love to see your babies digging into cake or ripping open gifts!

Anyone else too, I just know you two are still active on here and your tots already turned one.

We just had our party today. It was awesome! We had 75 people, including 25 babies! I'll try to figure out the pic thing soon.

Happy belated birthday to your little ones! 25 babies...that's a lot to entertain in one home! Were many of them from your twins group?

Wow, sounds like quite a bash!! I still can't believe they're all turning one!

Here are a couple pics from R.'s party on Sunday. Poor little guy got really sick on Friday and was quite under the weather for his party, but he hung in there and had some fun with the kids. Come Sunday night we were exhausted from caring for a sick baby waking up every 30 minutes and preparing and hosting the party. But it was tons of fun and everyone had a great time! I found out today poor LO has strep throat. We were going to postpone the party but this was the last chance before Christmas for most people to attend. I warned everyone so they could decide if they wanted to bring their kids around our sick LO. Most of the kids were older and in daycare so they didn't care too much.

The pics are of the cupcakes I made - sorry no pics of us (DH refuses to let me post any on the web). Sorry they are huge I don't know how to resize.

Your fish cupcakes turned out great - I really like the fish lips! Glad the party went well. Sorry your son was/is so sick. Hope he gets better - sounds like its been rough on the whole family with the extra night wakings. Not what you want when you are trying to get a party together and getting ready for work. Is this your first week back?

Technically yes but with LO sick I've been able to talk my boss into letting me stay home another week. I did a little bit of work from home this week. I am dreading going back because LO just bawls the entire time with the babysitter. For hours! Other than that I'm excited to go back to work. I am also only going back 3 days per week so it's not too bad.

ETA: The dark smarties I used for the fish eyes sort of bled their colour into the icing, making the eyes look all cracked out!

Aww...those cupcakes are so cute! So sorry your little guy was sick for his big day. Hope he's feeling better soon!

Ha! I thought you had drawn eyelashes on some of the fish. Well they still look colorful and fun.
