DS1 has a series of children's books that have lineart pictures of various things on the endpapers: different kinds of bugs, flowers, fish, animals, birds, etc. Right now, B is in his "fish" phase. He also likes identifying all old people as grandmas and grandpas, all children as babies, and all adults as mommies and daddies. This extends to his toys; he likes to say that this is a mommy giraffe, or this is a baby zebra, or that's a daddy lion.
So he was pointing out the different fish on the endpapers to me, and he said, "Baby fish!" when he pointed to one. Then he said, "Daddy fish!" and he pointed to another. And then he pointed to the blown-up pufferfish lineart, and said, "Mommy fish!"
If he had said that at 38 or 39 weeks, I would have totally understood. But owie! That was kind of harsh!
Ohh wow! LOL My step-son put one of my daughters toy balls under his shirt the other day and came in and said "Look Jessicah I look just like you" and started doing this stupid little dance. I told him if he wanted to eat again to shut up. LOL
Kids are too much! I had my little sister call me fat the other day (she's 11!!) and I was so pissed! My mom yelled at her... I know she's young but still! If she wants to start I'll go to town on her... I told her she looks like Mr. Ed! I know, I know, I'm a childish jerk who's 18 years older than she is, but it was so rude! I never made fun of other people when I was a kid... at least not to their faces lol!
