    Default Carolyn!

Have you been effected at all by the flooding? I hope you're safe and that your home isn't damaged. We got really lucky here with only a small amount of water in the basement, but many of the towns surrounding ours got hit pretty hard and I know some of my co-workers are unable to go into their homes. Just wanted to let you know I'm thinking of you and hoping all is well.

Carrie I'm glad you got minimal damage.

Carolyn I hope all is okay.

We did get any damage to our house but many roads were washed out. We live in York county.

I was thinking about you too Amanda. For some reason, I thought you lived closer to Pittsburgh. Was there much flooding in York?

Yeah all over in the low lying areas and near creeks and of course the suq river. Our neighborhood is pretty elevated and our house sits the highest so I wasn't worried about flooding but I wouldn't have been surprised if we had any mudslides. Luckily nothing major in our town.

That's good to hear. It wasn't major in our town either, but our friends in Wilkes-Barre had to be evacuated from their homes and my supervisor at work is pretty close to being homeless at this point.

I heard that much of Harrisburg had to be evacuated and I think Carolyn might live close to there. I really hope all is well.

Hey everyone! We are safe! We live in bloomsburg, one of the hardest hit areas. I have never seen a flood before! The flood level here is 19 feet... And the river crested at 32! It's crazy. Half the town is under feet and feet of water. The water is pretty toxic, but fortunately its moving fast and not sitting stagnant. We made it out to my parents thank goodness. I have no idea when the power will be back. DH's car is flooded but were hoping it starts once it dries. We were under mandatory evacuation for the water then an ammonia leak. We rent, but were also up enough of a hill that only the basement is wet. Anyway, in on my phone so I will be MIA for awhile. We're safe!
