Contraction question

Are your contractions hurting your lady parts and your bottom, your back and belly? Are they making your heart beat really fast? Even my gums throb! I am getting light headed and can't focus.

Are they still just BH? Why are they changing?

Yes to pretty much all of that, haha. Though the rapid heartbeat has been a typical side effect of my BH. But the pain (like menstrual cramps), back ache and pressure is new for me too. I even get the throbbing gums lol! So weird.

When I was typing I was thinking the same thing, but the are still irregular and BHish. So I am mostly sure they are BH. Sigh, sorry I am so whiny. IRL I am not complaining as much. Just grumpy from the "discomfort". Seeing the OB tomorrow afternoon...pretty sure he will just tell me I am getting closer. DUH!

I don't remember the throbbing gums before....so weird, my mom was even laughing at me last night when I asked her.

I've never heard about the throbbing gums. I had my first very strong BH's last night. Usually I can just feel them in my lower abdomen but this time the whole uterus was contracting and I could feel it from my lower abdomen all the way up to almost my ribs. It was quite scary. I actually had to stop and bend over because I didn't know what else to do!

Yes to everything but the gums lol. Some of my contractions involve my inner thighs and.defintely my chest at times. It feels like my trachea is getting squeezed and its harder to breathe. They also make my bladder feel like it might explode. However the majority of my contractions at this point involve just my belly. I only get 6 or so more severe ones a day. The rest are just in my belly.

Sounds like you're getting closer! Maybe baby s moving downward and pushing on different nerves and cause the different feeling contrax. I don't know about the throbbing fume but you know how they say nearly everything is"normal" in pregnancy.

I get a shooting pain down my inner thighs towards my knees when I have some contractions or when Ryan wiggles a certain way. He is also hitting a nerve in my back. It's so weird to have nerve pain this time around. Never had that with my first pregnancy.

Complain all you need! I've been the same way lately.

Lots of AF type cramps and tons of pain and pressure in the bottom of my uterus when I get up from laying down or sitting. Sometimes it takes a good 30-60 seconds for me to be able to stand up straight and take my first step.

I also get pains that shoot down my thighs.
