    Default Contractions

Ugh ... are these going to go on and on forever? Contractions are stupid.

Isn't it a little early for contractions or do you mean braxton hicks?

Yes, Braxton Hicks, but they were certainly contracting!

I've been having some BH Contractions too. I remember having them with my first, but I don't remember when they started. I don't have them everyday though, just some days more than others. Drink lots of water and take it easy!

i have them all the time! i bet they come earlier with twin pregnancies, EVERYTHING seems to happen earlier with twins!

you probably know the drill... rest and drink TONS of water.

ive been having them for a good 6 weeks. my Dr's explanation is that my pregnancies are close together and i work all night and then I'm up all day. Mine are ALOT worse when i'm working alot. I dont think ive had any in a few day though

Yep, I've been having them for a while too. I think they get stronger and come earlier with each pregnancy, just like afterpains too. And I'm no expert, but it makes sense that a twin belly would be having more noticeable BH than a singleton.

Ditto the recommendations for rest and lots of water! And yes, they'll probably continue until birth, and get stronger as you get closer. In my experience anyway. Your uterus is training for a marathon after all!

I havent had any yet, I hope I don't for a bit. I had them with ds, but they just annoyed me. I had them with dd and they actually hurt sometimes. I don't look forward to them with this one.

I have had a few already. I either didn't notice them with DD or didn't have them. It kinda freaks me out because I feel like I shouldn't be having these this early in the pregnancy!

I get them too along as they aren't regular you should be fine. Drinking water and resting really does help. I always get them when vacuuming. I really don't like to vacuum. Haha!

i was freaked out by them too at first!! i never had a contrcation with Luke until I was in labor. I know BH are supposed to be "painless" but most of mine are not. ive been having them for at least 6 weeks now so im not worried about them anymore, and the doc said its okay
