Cramping anyone?

I have been experiencing some vaginal cramping that takes my breath away at times. It's not the same kind of cramping I get when AF is coming (in my lower abdomen). I've also seen pinkish brownish tinged CM on a few occasions. Once a few weeks ago and again today. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I be worried?

Light spotting and cramping is normal for women during pregnancy, expecially in the beginning as your cervex and uterus stretch to accomodate your growing baby. I would call your OB either way and let them know what's going on. Anything that's that painful (like you're describing it) is not normal. Also, if there's any sign of bright red blood, even spotting, I would let your OB know ASAP. Good luck!

I agree with Krystal and just let them know that you are having some painful cramping. Hopefully they can put your mind at ease. Also, my doctor office paperwork says to call them if I have any discolored discharge. I called when I had that spotting after the pap and they put my mind at ease.

That being said, I have had some cramping but it never "takes my breath away" so to speak.

Yep, call, just to be on the safe side. I, too have had cramping, but nothing like what you are describing.

i DEFINTELY had really sharp vaginal pain with Luke,,, but that was not till 38 weeks or so. The only pain i get that takes my breath away is the round ligament pain when i roll over in bed or stretch.

when in doubt... call the doc!!

I have sharp painful round ligament pain and it seems worse at the end of the day. But all "cramping" seems to be related to a BM. I agree with and be sure!
