DH!!!

So I just had to come and post about the (rare) sweet thing that DH did for me this morning! He brought me breakfast in bed! He got up early with DD and made pancakes and brought them up to me with a tall glass of iced tea (which I had to switch out for milk, because you can't have pancakes without milk!)... but it was the sweetest thing! I hate to say that I was shocked, but with our crazy, hectic schedules, kids, and life itself we don't get much together time, and there's not much time for romance lol! Anyway, has your DH done anything special for you lately? Come post about it here!

That is sweet!! Hmmmm...can't think of anything recently. ROFL He has been more helpful than usual with our son, just doing things like lifting him out of the carseat. Does that count? LOL

Awww that is super sweet. DH does little things for me like helping out with Nicholas and cooking dinner so I can rest. The small things add up though Smile

Didn't Bill do the 3rd coat of pink in the nursery? That kind of counts.

Justin had the wall built and has been working his tail off the past two weekends to get our house ready for the baby. Next weekend we paint all weekend and the following weekend we do carpet and get the rooms set up - YAY! That's enough romance for me for now - ha.

So sweet! Nothing above and beyond from DH lately, sadly.

Aww, nice! Around here the "romance" has been the endless support from my boyfriend: insisting I don't overdue it ever, coming with me every time I want to go to the stores so he can drive if I want him to and to carry the bags, helping with my dog and treating him as his own as always (we're at the point that this includes busting out a steam cleaner a couple of times a week), cooking together and getting the dishes done, taking care of everything to host a big BBQ and poker game on Saturday and a smaller get together for some of my friends and their little kids yesterday ... and the list goes on. Biggrin

Aww! that was so sweet!

My DH isn't romantic whatsoever! I have to practically schedule a day i can sleep in. I hate to ask i wish he'd just do it on his own once in a while. he has gotten me flowers for mothers day and an anniversary a few times but we've been married 13 yrs! Maybe I'm not high enough maintenance to force him to think more romantically or its just thats we've known each other for 15 yrs. Lol

DH is very good with the little things...helping me out around the house, coming with me for grocery shopping so I don't have to lift the bags, keeping me comfortable and well hydrated (lol this is his big thing, drinking water!) while I'm at home...little things that add up and make me feel supported!

See, this is my DH as well, which is why I felt so compelled to write about what he did yesterday lol! I mean, he does do little things like offer to bring me breakfast or dinner if I'm at work and he's off. And he'll get up with Liberty if she wakes up during the night and he knows I have to open in the morning. But to make a gesture like breakfast in bed was incredible!

I hate it when men think that because we're married that they don't have to work for it anymore. DH has said to me lots of times, "We're married now... all that stuff when we were dating was just pillow talk baby!" :violent2: Are you kidding me? Men get all up in arms when a woman stops shaving, doing her hair, wearing makeup, and gains 50 lbs because they might get comfortable in a marriage... but it's the same thing! We're supposed to stay looking the same as when we got with them and they're supposed to still open the freakin' car door for us and whisper sweet nothings in our ear! Otherwise everyone ends up cheating on each other LMAO! *Deep breath* OK I'm calmed down now... I certainly hope all of our men wise up!

Yeah, well, he didn't do it willingly! LOL!
