    Default Fatties

I had an appointment today. Everyone's alive and good, and I had the opportunity finally to ask a lot of twins-related questions. I can't get over the fact that there are TWO regular-sized kiddos in there, and now I find out they're already giant fatties, too (Baby B is measuring almost a week ahead)! Yep, that makes sense, my innards are really getting squashed! Surprisingly, I've lost even more weight though. Weird. I have another check up (with ultrasounds at every check up) in 3 weeks and then the big ($400!) anatomy scan in 5 weeks.

Sounds like your body is doing what it needs to to grow those babies! Awesome!

So what kind of questions did you have and what did they say? I'm always curious to know what having twins is like.

Oh the questions were just boring stuff -- do I still take regular prenatal vitamins (yes, but I need a little more folic acid), do they have "rules" about how early is too early and labor is stopped (it's not set, but probably before 34 weeks they'd stop labor) or if there's a time that's too late (nope, they just had a set of twins come vaginally at 39 weeks ... UGH!), and then questions about my genetic testing (it still says one fetus so I don't want to hear it if that causes them to think there's a horrible deformity), whether or not any babies have magically appeared since the last appointment (no THANK GOD!).

I have no idea what having a singleton is like so I'm not one to make comparisons with having twins!
