First Big Purchase!

Finally bought our little guy something besides clothes!! And we scored this thing at a consignment sale. It's barely used, came with the original book/instructions, and all the accessories. Retail price was about $135. We got it for $75! I am thrilled. It will allow me to shop easier and allows me to be able to seat Brynna as well if she wants to sit or stand on it.

Awesome!!! That is really handy. You can find some great stuff on consigment!

I just got a Quinny stroller online - my aunt went and checked it out as she lives in Alberta- great condition- so she picked it up for me- Got it for $150- they retail here for 499. came with all the accessories. My mom was there for a visit and brought it home on the plane.

That is an awesome deal as well!! I love consignment shops as well. I've gotten alot of Ryan's clothes from places like this. It all looks brand new and you pay next to nothing for it. I just need to get a Graco or Britax car seat so that it's compatible with the stroller.

My sister has a sit and stand and she loves it. It's great for bigger kids to hitch a ride. You'll get lots of use out of it.

Nice find! I was thinking about getting one of those but my DS is already outgrown even the biggest weight/height requirements!

Really!?! I guess I need to check the requirements for it. My daughter is almost 5. She is petite though. Weighs maybe 40lbs. Not sure how tall she is though

I'm buying one from a coworker and I didn't realize there were weight/height restrictions. However, his son rode on it up until recently and he is older than my DS and bigger so I'm not too concerned.

Those are all just recommendations anyway, right?! It's not like a carseat with safety restrictions. I'm sure you will be fine! I just decided we will use the two strollers we have until DS is done. I think he will be done riding the stroller pretty soon.

Brynna was super excited for this stroller because it makes her feel important like if she's standing there she is watching over her brother. As of now she really feels Ryan is her responsibility! I don't know how much that will change once he gets here.

I sooo wanted that stroller too! I'm sure it will be great and I think our older children will have their moments, but overall will be great big brothers/sisters. Smile
