Fitness Mommas

Its been a while now, nearly all of our babies have reached their 6 months birthday.

So where are you at when it comes to your back in shape fitness goals?

What your current plans/goals? Short term/Long term?

For me:
I began with a diet/lifestyle change right at the 6week point(mid january). That first month i lost 7-8 lbs effortlessly. After that it was hard to lose any weight. I added exercise and a couple of lbs came off but it was still taking a long time and i wasnt even sure i was losing anything since daily fluctuations and such it was really confusing. I thought at the time i was stalling out(plateau). So i changed things up a little more. Keeping with my new diet/lifestyle, i have begun a litle "experiment" on myself. Following one of my friends successful path to hotness, I am finally losing stubborn weight again!! Mostly watching/adjusting the nutrient content of what i am eating in accordance to what kind of activity I am doing that day. Added Weight lifting to build muscle.

So im down 13 lbs from prepregnancy weight. My clothes are falling off and i feel great! Long way to go still and i cant wait to get some after photos. The befores are scary. To me at least.

Current plans continue weight training, carb cycling, primal eating, occasional run. Goal lose 15-20 lbs more, by October.

Long term? um. ill think about it when i get closer. Smile

I stayed mostly primal throughout my pregnancy and lost all the baby weight plus 10 pounds. However, DH and I started on a slippery slope of cheating and in the past month, I have gained those extra 10 pounds back. So, I am still at my pre-pregnancy weight, but I want to get back down to where I was a month or so ago. We started Whole 30 about 10 days ago, but it was making me so miserable that I ditched it. However, my goal is still to get back on track with primal eating and stay there. Ideally, I'd like to lose those 10 pounds again (already lost about 4 of them), but mainly, I'd just like to spend a few months eating the way I plan to eat for the rest of my life so that my weight will stabilize and I can buy some new clothes!! I loathe exercise and while I know I should probably try to be a little more active, I have come to accept that I will never be an exercise guru. Why waste so much of my time doing something I hate?!

My abs split terribly (6 cm at my belly button and further up I cannot find abs at all) and I haven't started wearing the splint and working on it so I still look like I'm 6 months pregnant with twins. I have one pair of jeans that buttons low and one t-shirt that covers it all, so I do laundry before I can leave the house. That's rare though so mostly I'm in sweats. I'm about 15 lbs over my pre-pregnancy weight but that's clearly caused by eating crap all day long every day.

I have done nothing fitness-wise but go for long walks since baby was born. Everytime I try to eat less my milk supply takes a dive so I don't even try working out. I have postponed all of that until I wean.
