I put breast pads on thinking I was doing a good job. Yup, put them on backwards, I was still all wet. Sleep deprivation is bad!

Oh no! Thankfully with this baby I've been faithful to put them in each day and night! The only mistake I made was a few nights ago I put them in backwards after feeding him around 2AM (so obviously I was exhausted lol) and when I went to feed him at his 6AM feeding the tape side was stuck to my nipples and it hurt like hell to pull them off!!

What brand do you use?

The ones I have are ameda and they don't seem to have a wrong side. I keep looking at them when I wear them thinking "am I putting this on right?" lol

I really like the Lansinoh ones. I go through them so often though and they are expensive!! Sad I have reusable cloth ones but they don't keep me dry and I hate the damp sticky feeling Sad

LOL!
I hear ya, Joy. Sometimes I wonder if I have all my clothes on when I leave the house because I am so scatterbrained lately.
I bought some of those Soothies Gel nursing pads a while back(made by Lansinoh) and I don't like them at all! I like that you don't have to wear a bra with them bc they stick right to your bbs, but it hurt like heck to peel them off when it came nursing time. And they were like $10! Sheesh.

OUCH! I hate nursing pads in general. My MIL was nice enough to make me 10 pair of reusable ones and I use those at home. They are great. But when I leave the house I use disposable ones because they aren't as easy to see through my shirt. I hate how crinkled they get when nursing though.
