Gender tests

Has anyone taken the intelligender or done the cabbage test? I had some red cabbage in my salad from Outback tonight so I saved it and did the cabbage gender test. Red/pink is supposed to be BOY Purple is supposed to be GIRL. From this it is saying I'm going to have a BOY!

Before Pic (cabbage water):

After pic immediately afterwards (with urine):

After pic after ~5min:

If you have taken a gender test, post your results!

No, I haven't done either, and I don't think I will... I'm just gonna wait until my elective U/S in another 3 weeks... thinking PINK thoughts!!!

I did the baking soda test that others mentioned in another thread. There was no fizzle, so I'm hoping that means girl! Smile

Mine was inconclusive, the water turned orange. LOL. I saved the rest of the cabbage water though and will try again with SMU. Maybe my FMU was just too concentrated?!

Jenn, yeah, I think it was probably orange because your pee was too yellow. Smile

I don't like red cabbage, and doing the test doesn't seem worth buying it to me, but I did the backing soda, and it fizzed, which means boy, so I guess we'll see.

I could not bring myself to spend the money on the Intelligender that was only so-so accurate, and I am NOT spending the big money for the online ones. I am thinking about the cabbage, but I don't know. I will have to see if I remember to buy it at the store this week!

I keep forgetting to buy cabbage, but I want to do this too!

We should get a sticky thread just for posting peeps results. and then we can compare at the 20 week U/S!?
