Got What I Asked For....

Morning sickness!! The past two days I have gotten so nauseated about an hour or so after I've woken up. No vomiting yet but definitely thought it was going to happen until I talked myself out of it. LOL I absolutely hate to vomit but so glad I am starting to feel more pregnant now. Smile

Yay for morning sickness (I guess? LOL)!! Even though it does kinda suck, it's very reassuring to feel those symptoms. I hope it's not too bad for you. I can remember when my mom was pregnant with my youngest sister, she was forever in the bathroom with her head in the bowl. I'm really hoping that mine just stays as nausea and no vomiting!

I was sick all day, every day from week 8 to about week 16 or 17 with my daughter! It was awful. But I will gladly take it at this point. As crazy as that sounds.

I finally got the nausea subsided a bit. Got a little food in my stomach and that seems to have helped. I have never been a breakfast person. Eating as soon as I get up (when not pregnant) makes me feel queasy. I guess I am going to have to start forcing myself to eat a little something to keep that empty feeling away and the nausea down.

Jessicah, you can try keeping some crackers by your bed and eating a few before you get out of bed. This has helped me get through my shower ok (I like to shower before I eat breakfast) without feeling queasy. You for sure need to eat breakfast in the morning!

Well, I'm glad that you finally feel prego now, but I'm sorry you feel sick! Thank God I don't get nausious or throw up while pregnant, cause it makes me cry like a baby every time, I hate it!

I cry when I get sick too. It's so weird but I do it. I just hate throwing up so much. Yuck.

My nausea has kicked in too - not very bad, but the thought of eating makes me lose my appetite most of the time. I noticed it helps a ton to just eat a little whenever I feel nauseous, even though I might not feel like it. It also helps me a lot to be outside in the fresh air, and in general to be distracted by something. The more I focus on the nausea the worse it seems to get. I really hope that it doesn't get worse, I start a new job in 3 weeks and I would hate to start off being sick the whole time.

Mine is the worst when my stomach starts to get empty. Once I get a little food in me then I feel fine.

I'm scared to say it, but I haven't felt queasy yet. Then again, I only had mild nauseousness with my son and it started at about 9 weeks and only lasted until about 13 weeks...hope it's like that this time around too!

It scares me still as I am only minimally nauseated and with DD I was sick all day, every day!!

Do you mean it scares you because you feel as if morning sickness is a sign that things are on the right track? All of my friends that have had >1 child have said that every child is different in terms of the course of the pregnancy...morning sickness, tiredness, etc. It's so hard to not worry about everything in the beginning before you can feel the baby move though.

Yeah that's what I mean! I guess I would feel more pregnant if I was sick with this baby like I was with my daughter. LOL I know every pregnancy is different. Most times they are complete opposites. Smile
